A 60 page A4 booklet with full colour cover; Including Emergency Numbers; Telephone Listings, Advertisers; Clubs and Orgs; and Local Maps. The Whitianga Volunteer Fire Brigade needed someone to revamp their directory and tidy things up. Firstly, I re-designed the cover using my own photography, and meticulously clear-cutting the fire station from the existing photo. I typeset the new page layout from scratch using elements of the previous version. I re-designed many adverts and gave the pages uniformity. I dealt directly with the advertisers, proofing and keeping a paper trail of all correspondence and ensuring no errors slipped through the cracks. My procedures worked efficiently and the book was published without issue. The Whitianga Fire Brigade were over the moon with the finished product. It has exceeded all their expectations.
